North Baltimore Tigers vs Seneca East Tigers
Wednesday, December 28th, 2011The North Baltimore Tigers hit the road to take on in-conference foes Seneca East. This promised to be a gridiron battle that would be interesting down to the very end. Unfortunately, this game broke its promise. Seneca East pounced on North Baltimore early in the game taking a 20 point lead in the first quarter. They tacked on 14 more points in the second quarter without giving up a score. The domination on both sides of the ball continued through the second half as the game ended with a score of 41-6.
Seneca East won the game with a balanced offense. They had over two hundred yards of offense in both phases of the game. They also dominated on defense. Their stout defensive line only allowed 123 rushing yards even though North Baltimore ran the ball 59 times. North Baltimore had no passing game to speak of throwing the ball five times for one completion and 12 yards.
With an offense like, it is hard to come back from the kind of margin that Seneca East had put on the board. North Baltimore didn’t even get a score until the last score of the game as Jordan Watson caught the teams lone reception for a 14 yard touchdown grab.
